The Annual Sports Day 2025-26

The Annual Sports Day was held on Thursday, 18th December 2025. Mrs. Karima Bano, Head Coach of the Pakistan Women’s Netball Team, was the Chief Guest on the occasion. The Guests of Honor included Mr. Nazim F. Haji, Chairman, Management Committee and Member of the Governing Body, CDSS; Mr. Yasir Ashraf, Chief Executive and Member of the Governing Body, CDSS; Mr. Faheem Akhtar, Management Coordinator, CDSS; Mrs. Saira Zaidi, Head, IETC; Ms. Asma Nasir, Principal, Korangi Academy; and Mr. Rizwan Amjad, Vice Principal, Korangi Academy.

Following the solemn oath-taking ceremony, the Annual Sports Day unfolded with remarkable energy and coordination. Students from all houses showcased their talents, discipline, and teamwork, creating a memorable celebration of sportsmanship.

Key Events & Performances:

March-Past – 150 senior students from Classes VIII, IX, and X displayed pride and precision in a stirring parade of discipline.
Band Performance – 60 students from Grades IV to VIII filled the arena with rhythm, color, and enthusiasm.
PT Display – 370 students from Grades IV to VII moved in flawless synchronization, highlighting teamwork and energy.
Taekwondo & Gymnastics – 120 students from Grades IV to VIII demonstrated strength, agility, and exceptional mind-body coordination.
200m Girls’ Race – Junior Section athletes from all houses sprinted in an exciting display of speed and spirit.
Tug of War – Senior house teams battled in a gripping contest of strength, strategy, and teamwork.

The event concluded with an inspiring address by the Chief Guest, prize distribution, and refreshments—making the day vibrant, disciplined, and truly memorable for all.

Brief About the Chief Guest

International Netball Coach | National Athlete | Head Coach – Pakistan Women’s Netball Team

A national-level athlete and an internationally certified netball coach, Karima is a gold medalist at the 35th National Games of Pakistan and a multiple-time national netball champion.

As an Asian-certified Netball Coach trained in Singapore, she brings global expertise to the court and is currently serving as the Head Coach of the Pakistan Women’s Netball Team.
